I've been #bingeing #SeaPatrol, an #Australian series from the 2000's following an #Australia Navy boat and crew, and it is every bit as cheesy as that description makes it sound.

No bodyshaming Sea Patrol, but I'm finding it hard to believe that this man is a serving SAS Officer 🤓

Then there's Sea Patrol, a show following the adventures of an RAN patrol boat crew. The producers employed clever tax tricks to create a show that must've cost a bloody fortune to shoot, using an actual RAN patrol boat, set pieces at sea and masses of location shooting.
The stories can be quite cheesy, but the drama, likeable characters and seasonal story arcs make it great comfort watching.
