  1. Earlier today, I was trying to submit a potential phishing URL to Hybrid Analysis (hybrid-analysis[.]com/, behind CloudFlare) because I was too lazy to spin up a VM.
I wrote in the comments field that it was "Associated with" and then a bitly link which redirected to it.
I was unable to submit it with that comment because it gave me the error "This field contains improper words".
    Because "Associated" contains "ass"...

  6. @jackyan

I joined the peertube.wtf instance but can't post links to it in the Linux Mint forums because those three final letters are always auto-replaced with "confused" 😆

One of great grandmother's maiden name was Lillycrap and another great grandparent was Longbottom.
Good old fashioned British names don't always age well.

  8. @b3cft @jonty My surname has been rejected by websites on occasions because it fails the #scunthorpeproblem test.

(I prefer not to put my surname out here but it's not too difficult to find)

  9. @jonty
Damn my carpentry company; Drop Table Legs, is now illegal?
Wonder how many other companies are now technically illegal because of the #ScunthorpeProblem

  10. @pluralistic "No sex please, we're British!"

There was my little encounter recently with Pastebin's #ScunthorpeProblem:

(Pastebin, to their credit, remedied the situation rapidly and w/o hassle, though I somewhat enjoyed defending the language usages.)
