Well tonight was game night - #Scion2e. My character bartered a favor with their 14 tailed kumiho mother to get her help in the upcoming final battle.

This will not turn out well for dU57 in the long run, but I suspect they'll survive.

In today's #Scion2e #ttrpg session, the player characters beat up a #Reichsbürger who tried to summon werewolves as warriors for a new German Empire.

I think #Nazis have become rather cliché as villains. But if you need to have villains whom you can freely beat up without feeling bad about it, then I think Reichsbürger have a lot of growth potential!

A question for anyone doing #layout in the #TTRPG industry:

There's currently a "Storypath Nexus GameJam" going on, and I am contemplating writing a short supplement for #Scion2e .

However, the only available layout templates they have are for Microsoft Word and #InDesign - neither of which I have. So I am wondering if there are any #OpenSource programs that can work with either of these templates.

Otherwise I'd either have to use a trial version of InDesign or start over from scratch, neither of which I am particularly keen on.

One of my fantasy #ttrpg campaigns is:

The #Pathfinder "Wrath of the Righteous" campaign, but run with the #Scion2e rule system (with perhaps some additional #Storypath rules from the upcoming "The World Below").

I like the concept of "Wrath of the Righteous" (as well as some of the additional ideas from the video game), but the Pathfinder 1E rules and _especially_ the Mythic Rules had far too many problems.

So, today's #Scion2e #ttrpg session which I will have to prepare for will feature a #StreetArt -themed art gala and fundraiser - topics which I personally know little about.

Scion itself is set in a "magical" variant of the modern world, where the gods and supernatural entities retreated from the public eye, but never really went away. And my own campaign

Any cool stuff about street art I ought to know in preparation? And do you have any other suggestions on how to make this interesting?

@cynical13 I have other rule systems entirely for when I want "simpler mechanics" (currently I am running #Scion2e / #Storypath ).

But for #dnd -esque games, I prefer a certain mechanical "heft".

So, the goal for next Saturday's #Scion2e #ttrpg session is to work out a political action conference where worshipers of the Aesir and other representatives of Germany's supernatural community want to protest a project sponsored by the German government which could identify the precise location of "extradimensional distortions" - i.e. portals to the Otherworld and the like. What could possibly go wrong at such an event?

That wasn't a rhetorical question, btw - I am looking for suggestions. ;)

I really need to start revising my book manuscript.

But since the start of September, I've been extremely busy with my day job (fall is the busiest season of the year for bid management!), the #Italian for Beginners classes I am taking, gamemastering #Scion2e , and, admittedly, #Starfield that I have not been able to find the time.

Well, at least I was able to continue translating my regular #translation work with German folk tales for my Patreon campaign. But that's about it. #amwriting

It's nice when you can pull off a proper cliffhanger in a #ttrpg .

In my #Scion2e game, one of the PCs accompanied two inspectors from the state worker safety agency as they investigated a rather dodgy company.

During their inspection of the premises, the three of them finally got into the facility where all their creature tanks and cages were. This included a young hydra, which the company certainly did _not_ have the permits for.

The chief inspector was about to read them the riot act when an employee told them: "Please raise your hands." - and three employees had aimed their pistols at the visitors.

The PC just about managed to send off a pre-arranged distress signal to the other members of the party before her smart phone was taken away.

And... cut.
