A new personal achievement: yesterday @thatwitchkira and I ascended our first 3k+ peak: #Schaufelspitze (3332m) in #Stubaital, #Austria! As a prize - stunning views on nearby #mountains, glaciers and the ski resort below.
The path is not particularly long or technical: the summit can be reached by #hiking up a pretty nasty but manageable alpine terrain from the nearby gondola station. Sturdy shoes, a cool head and some #mountaineering experience are nonetheless required.
