    long press of the trigger allows video capture. The device provides video output via USB as well as mass storage access. On win11 I just get one static image no matter if VLC or amcap, on Debian I get 1...2 seconds of video via VLC and freezing image after this. Mplayer is not happy at all with default config.

    I assume they encode some metadata in between or after frames and this messes up video processing. But thats just a guess.

    So video out and video capture in principle works out of the box for this variant/generation of the device :ablobcaramelldansen:

    Edit: the h264 stream works: ffplay -fflags nobuffer -f v4l2 -input_format h264 -i /dev/video0
    The device identifies itself as infiray c200 so I suspect its compatible SW wise
