#Saucony used to have a really good quality. But my last Kinvaras were also done after 6 Months and only 800km. 🥴

After three weeks of running without rain, I already became soft. I specifically waited until the rain stopped before going outside today. 😅🏃
My running shoes are already worn out. I bought them last August and just ran 800 km in them. #Saucony, you used to be so much better at that.

Leider musste ich mir heute eingestehen, dass meine Traillaufschuhe von Saucony doch zu eng sind 😬 obwohl ich schmale Füße habe.
Ich war am Ende so froh, als ich sie ausziehen und die letzten 2 Kilometer barfuß über einen Rasen laufen konnte 😊
Glaube, ich teste demnächst mal die Hoka Speedgoat 🤔
Oder hat jemand einen anderen Vorschlag? 🙏

There have been some seriously tough kilometres this month — November threw plenty at me: sub-zero temperatures, snow, ice, #StormBert, and #StormConall. A run-in with gluten at the start of the month added to the challenge, with fatigue, nausea, headaches, joint pain and more (thanks, #CoeliacDisease).

At times this meant a gentler pace, a couple of extra rest days, and shorter distances when needed — but I kept going. And that’s the main secret to #running… just…keep…going!

November looked like this:
Distance: 229km (142 miles)
Longest run: 11.72km (7.28 miles)
Average run: 9.40km (5.84 miles)
Average pace: 5:16/km (8:29/mile)
Fastest km: 4:31/km (7:16/mile)
VO₂ max: 50.0

Total que a parte de mandarme plantillas (que me las veia venir de lejos) me ha dicho que mis zapatillas estan ya MUY deformadas (+500km) y que tenía que comprar otras. Tenía en mente pillar nuevas, asi que no me ha venido de sorpresa y tenía en mente pillar unas HOKA por estética y resulta que me ha recomendado sin yo decirle nada que para mi problema las que mejor me vienen eran #HOKA, #Altra o #Saucony.

My new Saucony shoe lineup arrived and I am very pleased. I always get nervous about shoes fitting, especially when I order wide width shoes, but these all fit PERFECTLY. Plenty of toebox room and just really comfy and cushioned. I should just buy a pair of running shoes to wear all the time!

All size 12, wide width. From top:

Ride 16 - daily trainer
Triumph 20 - for long runs
Kinvara 14 - speed/race shoe

Allez, c’est parti pour une sortie #trail. Aucune idée du nombre de bornes que je ferai, ce sera la surprise selon l’envie des jambes et l’état du parcours sur lequel mes pieds décideront d’aller.
Seule certitude : il y a du #fromage à raclette qui attend en récompense au retour.

I loved the #Saucony Guide 14 to pieces, excellent shoe, stable and good durability. Its time came and I got the Guide 15: Congratulations, Saucony, you build a shoe that is basically suitable only for completely dry days or indoor… Wet-ish road is enough for soaking wet feet.

Funny enough, I'm not the only one describing that problem, several others in the reviews. I wonder if that's the reason the price dropped nearly half…
