#DominicSandbrook & sidekick #TomHolland don't try to defend Britain. So this 140 min account of #TheTroubles is unusually listenable, for an English show.
But it conveys no sense of the arrogant mendacity of British rule in Ireland. #Sandbrook portrays #UKgov as inattentive, but omits the imperialism & sheer feckin madness. UK govts are not #NormalPeople.
