'Round The Twist', a 1990s Australian TV series based on Paul Jennings short stories was, in my humble opinion, the peak of television during my teen years. The theme song is still a vibe 😍

The clever people at Amazon have stumbled on the treasure trove that is Australian TV (or the algorithm has just become clever enough to feed it to me?)
As a result, there are some real gems on Prime Video now. First up is Round the Twist, the classic surreal children's comedy with bags of heart. I'm enjoying rewatching this with my daughter, who is about the age I was when it aired (props to Tony Twist embodying absolute #DadGoals in 1990).

I don’t know who’s responsible for this, but if I find whoever got the #RoundTheTwist theme song stuck in my head this morning, im gonna do something not out of place in a live adaptation of a 1980s Paul Jennings novel!

@MrPineapple Not my era but right for my kids so all I can think of is the likes of #PowerRangers, #Rugrats, #BobTheBuilder, #Pokemon and of course the banger that is #RoundTheTwist.

@fribbledom don't worry - when adulting gets too much, I can be found sitting in front of #Plex running cartoons. Mostly #FamilyGuy, #TheSimpsons, #AmericanDad, #SouthPark, #BigMouth but when I REALLY need to revert to childhood, then I delve back in to #Sooty, #RoundTheTwist, #CountDuckula, #TheRugrats and other 90s kids TV stuff 😂
