Root: The Homeland Expansion all-in pledge finally fulfilled. Amusing to think that it was cheaper to just go all-in than it was to get everything but the base game. Guess I'll have a copy to sell or give away!

Taught and played the Root base game yesterday. I was the Woodland Alliance, up against the Marquis de Cat and the Eyrie Dynasty. The birds got off to a solid start, but a nasty ambush card pushed the Eyrie into turmoil. This event was later repeated in the exact same manner, leaving me teaming up with the Eyrie for most of the game to try to wrangle the cats into control. Unfortunately, I wound up one action short of a points victory before the Marquis de Cat achieved a domination victory.
