  1. The Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day, observed on 25.08, marks the eight anniversary of attacks by Myanmar’s military, the Tatmadaw, which forced over 700,000 Rohingya into neighboring Bangladesh. #Rohingyarefugees #RohingyaGenocide #JusticeForRohingya www.facebook.com/respect.dive...

  2. On August 25, 2017, with the mentality of wiping out the Rohingya from the world, they [Myanmar Military] committed such inhuman torture on the Rohingya that they committed genocide, intending to wipe out an ethnic group. Burma deprived the Rohingya of education, medical care, and justice for many years, and erased their ethnic culture. Not only did they write a chapter of genocide by killing the Rohingya, but they also wiped out all elements of their culture. The level of torture against them has not decreased yet. The seedbed that the Burmese army created is still ongoing, the new perpetrator [AA] killing Rohingya civilians, children. Rohingya are still looking for a safe place to save their lives and are still taking risks to find a better life.

Therefore, the Rohingya need your support. Not hatred towards the Rohingya, but each of us should work to facilitate the path to their rights without seeing them as dehumanizing. Please treat them as humans, talk for them. They need hope, they need your solidarity.

  4. CW: rohingya genocide and how Facebook/Meta is to blame for it.

@thejuicemedia And so that nobody forgets: The #Rohingyagenocide that was mentioned here was largely incited by #Facebook/#Meta boosting anti #Rohingya propaganda for profit, without any consequences for them. (For the Nazis there was the trial in Nürnberg, but for Zuckerberg there was only a shareholder conference in which he could talk about the profits!)

Never let them live that one down and stop using Meta’s products (#Facebook, #Instagram, #whatsapp

  5. Hundreds of Indonesian university students stormed a refugee shelter, forcefully evicting Rohingya refugees and demanding their immediate deportation. Footage showed the Rohingya women and children sitting on the ground, terrified and in tears. At the same time, the mob trampled over their belongings and attempted to attack them. The students forced the 137 Rohingya refugees out of the temporary shelter and onto trucks to deport them.

  6. French President Emmanuel Macron allied with the far-right to pass a controversial new migration bill that limits access to social security to foreigners who have been in France for 5 years or 30 months for those with jobs. Lawmakers from Macron’s centrist party voted for the bill along with the conservative Les Républicains and fascist leader Marine Le Pen's National Rally Party.

  12. #AmnestyInternational reminds us that #Facebook/Meta has contributed to the #RohingyaGenocide [1] and the #TigrayGenocide [2], and that "the root cause of Meta's systemic threat to human rights [is] the surveillance advertising business model" [3]. "Many of the human rights harms caused by the company stem from their need to maintain user engagement and keep people on their platforms." [3]

  13. Turns out that the complicit-sounding silence that #AungSanSuuKyi had regarding the #RohingyaGenocide might have been caused by the fear of being punished by the military... and here we are, with her being jailed by the military once again
