Did 1 mission and the tutorial. Impressions:
- No mission control >.>
- Movement is sluggish compared to DRG
- Most enemies are the corestone crawlers and variations on them (Zzzzzzz). Makes sense because of the story.
- Did encounter what might be a detonator though! Made same sounds.
- Cave leeches are the same.
- Missions are long, first mission took me 40mins
- Feels much more claustrophobic, and lighting feels way too dark.
- Ammo feels very tight, there was a point I only had the pickax.
- Axe power attack comes standard!
- Can only pick up ammo from certain pods, not call down resups.
- Once you kill the boss at the bottom, that's it, you win. It misses the WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE aspect of drg that makes the finale exciting.
- Colour palette feels much more drab vs drg.
- Most if not all the controls are from drg; pinging, calling down the drone etc. the special powers for each class though, I have zero clue what mine even does lol. (basically hold down Q and left or right mouse, or Q+E)
- There is a new drone that moves really fast to your location (nice!).
- Not a fan of the roguelite elements.
