  3. Well, it’s safe to say I’m back to charting on Rocksmith+, or at least temporarily. I initially went to change the bass sound for every track in Far’s Tin Cans With Strings to You to match the one the official chart has for “Punchdrunk”, but I ended up fixing several notes along the way, so my half-hour session became a three-hour session. Tomorrow or Sunday, I’m going to play through the entire album again, then make some more tweaks if needed. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus #RocksmithWorkshop

  5. Found out Rocksmith+ released on Steam today, so I uninstalled Ubisoft Connect and reinstalled the game though Steam… only for Ubisoft Connect to come right back. 🤦‍♂️ I was hoping the Steam release would eliminate the need for the stupid Ubisoft Connect app, but nooooo, Ubisoft is just… well, being Ubisoft. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus #Ubisoft

  7. Sigh… so against my better judgment, I have resubscribed to Rocksmith+, this time through mobile so I can use all the iTunes gift card money I’ve been saving up from holidays, game nights, and birthdays. For some reason, they’re giving me another free trial which happens to end after the price increase. And I just know #Ubisoft isn’t going to honor the original price that was given to me upon subscribing and will instead take the extra $40 and run. #RocksmithPlus #Rocksmith

  9. Huh, I don’t recall Rocksmith+ ever mentioning that the keyboard expansion was just in beta, but I guess I’m beta testing for them yet again. 🤦‍♂️ Unfortunately, since only MIDI is supported at the moment, I can only use my Rock Band keyboard, which gives me access to just 13 out of the 288 songs with keys. It’s still pretty fun, though, and thank goodness it’s at no additional cost to the subscription. Here’s to hoping keyboard comes to the RS+ Workshop. 🤞 #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus

  11. An update on "Harlem's Nocturne" by Alicia Keys:

So Rocksmith has created an official chart for this song, one that's more laidback than mine, so I have decided to update my chart and switch it from Bass to Alt Bass. If it weren't for the harmonic and the very high E note at the end of the song, I would have changed the tuning to match the official chart, which is in E♭ Standard.

So yeah, I guess I technically made my first Alt Bass chart! #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus

  13. At some point since I submitted my last #RocksmithPlus chart, Ubisoft added stats for how many times each of my arrangements has been played. Words can't say how ecstatic I am seeing that the chart that took me the longest to make not only has been played the most, but has also been played over 50 times! That song, "Nobody Knows the Way I Feel this Morning" by Aretha Franklin, was the most challenging and most fun to chart, and I'd love to make more bass charts like it. #Rocksmith

  19. #21: "Wordy Rappinghood" by Tom Tom Club

When I was younger, I thought Mary Poppins was the one singing this song. You can definitely tell it's not her in this live version.

Oh, and if I had a dollar for every slide I charted on this song, I'd have enough for at least two years of Rocksmith+. Or at least that's what it feels like. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus

  23. #20: "Nobody Knows the Way I Feel This Morning" by Aretha Franklin

This song was actually pretty challenging to chart, but it was a fun challenge! That feeling of seeing everything finally come together is one of the main reasons why I enjoy making these RS+ charts. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus

  31. #18: "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You?" by Gene Autry

Charting a song with only mono audio was harder than I thought it would be. Thankfully, this was still fairly easy to chart. Oh, and there are, like, three other versions of this song on Rocksmith+ from different artists. Maybe I'll chart them all down the road. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus

Yeah, I know, it's another piano part charted to bass. I had fun with this one, though. If any of you happen to play this chart, sorry in advance about the very end of the chart. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus

  39. I just found a YouTube video of someone playing one of the tabs I charted on Rocksmith+! It was the most surreal thing I’ve witnessed online in a while: Seeing my name at the beginning of the video as the song loads up, watching them play notes I placed in the chart, making the same mistakes I made during my first playthrough… I don’t even really know how to explain it. It was just… so rad. #Rocksmith #RocksmithPlus
