Replay is up from this morning’s Pure Rock Crawling stream (solo, ~1h07m). I built the game’s totally-not-licensed rig to look/feel like a classic FJ40: leaf springs, solid axles, stock-ish height, and old tires for maximum “period correct” struggle.
We also wandered through the backstory: racing/racing sims → getting hooked on rock crawling vids (summer ’24) → mini crawlers (FCX18 square body + my youngest’s LC80) → trying to replace my daily driver → nearly getting seduced by Land Rovers until “catastrophic engine failure” became a recurring character… and then discovering Toyota’s whole reliability and legendary off-road status.
Highlight: unlocked Oldtimer (only 1.7% of players have this one) for clearing a challenge on old tires. 😅

Got some seat time out on Nasty Half in Sand Hollow last weekend. Sometimes its nice to ride shotgun and just focus on photos instead of driving. I drove my Jeep on Sunday though... no photos. :(
