The game is absolutely littered with gambling mechanics now. Where games can provide loot boxes and other in game resources through #robux that you need to buy with real money.
Both the company and the game designers behind the levels earn massively on this. And that for a game intentionally aimed at children < 12 / 14.
Their parental controls are also sub par.

surprise surprise, #microsoft refused to refund the fake #roblox money Link managed to hack past my pass code to buy on #xbox, even though I asked for a refund immediately and the #robux hadn't been exchanged for anything yet. and here I didn't want Link playing Roblox in the first place, because it's full of guns, gore and scary monsters, but his dad installed it anyway. not much I can do but keep Link banned from Roblox forever, and all other electronics until I stop being extremely pissed off at him.

Ich muss hier mal was über #Roblox #Scammer und #Giftcards erzählen. Mir geht es nicht um die schlechte Bezahlung der Content Erzeuger sondern um meine Tochter.
Mein Kind ist 13 und seit längerem roblox- und #internetabhängig.
Einmal hat sie statt einem Weihnachtsgeschenk Geld verlangt das sie komplett in #Robux (die virt. Währung bei Roblox) umwandelt. Mit dem Geld werden dann virt. Accessoires und Klamotten gekauft mit denen man vor den anderen Roblox Spieler herumläuft..
