    The Scooters, Young Girls, 1980 on EMI

    Debut album from Los Angeles power-pop band The Scooters, not to be confused with the German techno band Scooter. Not sure why they were called "The U.S. Scooters" in Germany and the UK - perhaps there was another Scooters active in Europe already? Produced by Phil Wainman, the band included Larry Lee, Luke Zamparini, Robert Ferrero, and Bobby Dean Wickland.
