    In 1963, Lehigh Corp. hired an engineering firm to design a road racing course in Lehigh Acres, Florida. They widened the streets in places for turns and a pit area. It never happened and it disappeared into the plot maps at Lee County DOT. A friend of mine who worked in the RFA section, found this about 15 years ago. He drove the area and confirmed that it was there. There were no houses in that area in '63. Now it's full of them. #roadcourse #sportscar #weirdcarmastodon
