Rod Serling's The After Hours, still my all-time favourite episode of The Twilight Zone. Has that wonderful subtle sense of slowly increasing unease. Great performance by Anne Francis. I've seen it many times and I like it more each time.

M Squad was a 1957-60 NBC US TV cop series starring Lee Marvin. Action-packed, hard-edged, with a film noir vibe. It dives right into the seamy side of life. Marvin oozes charisma. He's like a pressure cooker about to blow. Superb TV.

My father was a fan of #TheAvengers - the British spy TV series that ran from 1961-9. That passion trickled down to me as I explore the many different eras: #DavidKeel, #CathyGale, #EmmaPeel, & #TaraKing.

Four early (1962-63) Cathy Gale episodes of The Avengers, featuring what I think of as the second version of Steed. Interesting to see the Steed-Mars Gale relationship at this early stage.
I particularly like Warlock - voodoo and black magic and sexiness!
