Sophomore album from Nick Laird-Clowes, Kate St. John, and Gilbert Gabriel aka "The Dream Academy." Most well known for "Life in a Northern Town" from their debut album. This was the last album for Young & Crazy Horse on Reprise before the five album run on Geffin. Some would consider this a kind of punk or even post-punk (is 1981 too early for post-punk?) version of Neil Young & Crazy Horse. "Baby Got Back" is a song written, co-produced and recorded by American rapper #SirMixaLot. Released in May 1992 by #DefAmerican and #Reprise as the second single from his third album, #MackDaddy (1992), the song samples the 1986 #DetroitTechno single "Technicolor" by #ChannelOne. At the time of its original release, the song caused controversy because of its outspoken and blatantly sexual lyrics objectifying women, as well as specific references to the #buttocks.
