Ordered my groceries online.
Mom wanted one of those cheap oven pizzas, one that's a little better than awful. So I showed her pictures of all the pizza choices & she picked one, one that cost more than the ordinary awful.
When I picked up the groceries, mom's pizza was barely an individual slice of pizza. She said it was worse than a wet sock.
We both agreed, "How can they get away with selling something that doesn't even pass as food?!"

Today's #retrogaming on the #Atari2600 #Snoopy and the #RedBaron join Snoopy for a dog-fight against the Red Baron with some nice music and fast action. Great fun.

Every time the Red Baron shot down an enemy plane, he asked a Berlin jeweller to make a silver cup for him, engraved with the date and the type of plane downed. He had 60 of them made, but by then there was a shortage of silver in Germany. Richtofen preferred not to have a cup at all rather than accept one in any other metal.

Happy Birthday to Wilfrid Reid "Wop" May, born on this day in 1896. May was a Canadian flying ace in the First World War and a leading post-war aviator. In one of his first aerial combat missions in 1918, he was pursued and targeted by the infamous Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen. Today in 1944, Arthur Brown died. Born in 1893, he served in the First World War as a pilot. A flying ace, he is officially credited with shooting down The Red Baron on April 21, 1918. However, this is now disputed as its believed the Baron was shot down from the ground.
