This thick, heavy, expensive catalog landed in my postal box today. I didn't request it. I'm not in the market for any of the stuff it's selling.
It literally went from postal box directly into recycling bin without entering my house or consciousness. A complete waste of time, money, energy, fuel, and tree pulp...all for nothing.
Marketing techniques have evolved greatly over the decades. Marketing directors need to do the same.
