  1. Inclusion advice to #bbc journalists from a #trans lady: using the term ‘women-only’ to mean ‘trans-exclusionary’ contributes to the idea that trans women are not women, and erases non-binary people entirely.

    There is a legal provision for cis-female spaces, and there is a moral case for the existence of those spaces. Yes, #ERCC failed on this.

    But the root cause is sexual violence, predominantly by cis men, and scarcity of funding for survivors.

    Fund #RapeCrisis provision for ALL genders.

    #Caution: People in #Ireland have always known about sexual/physical #abuse by all walks of society/church & didn't allow that they knew because rape is designed to traumatise and silence. As were laws in Ireland around #Censorship, so legal cases were stymied. Jury laws too.
