Obviously I couldn’t just stay home while the weather was amazing even though I was still recovering from a tiny bit sickness
So I stripped the gravel bike to its original form without any rack and bags and went out for a “fit check” aka 45 km ride 🫣 after I did the bike fitting, and explored some parts of my neighborhood and nearby towns including the NIMBY Milton and Quincy-by-the-sea
The bike fitting:
- new 38mm handlebar from old 40mm
- new hood position
- new stem: shorter and lower angle
- new insoles with more arch support
- new saddle position (lower)Overall it felt way more natural on the gravel bike now. All these changes together made a huge difference.
But but…… my HRV dipped to 33ms overnight 😭 a few more days till I’m properly recovered from the nasty little cold…
