#QuestRPG at work with guest GM Danial from Penang. I didn't play; I only organised it and monitored the video camera. Out of five players (all educators), three were newbies. But they enjoyed the session and roleplayed well.

Today I thought of the Quest rpg and how much I wanted the sci-fi follow-up game to become true.
So, anybody got any news on that front?

Je me faisais la réflexion que Quest n'est pas allé assez loin dans son approche simplifiée. Un jeu capable de te proposer un jet de dé unique sans modificateur d'aucune sorte mais qui gère les combats en tour par tour avec points de vie à descendre et capacités de PNJ à utiliser par la Guide?
Il y a toujours la possibilité de résumer le combat à un jet de destin mais je suis convaincue qu'on peut trouver une solution intermédiaire plus fluide et probablement plus narrative. Je ne sais pas encore laquelle par contre.

The Cosmic Fantasy edition of the #QuestRPG seems to be right up my alley but unfortunately its release seems to be delayed.

The news about the truly open and irrevocable license Paizo is developing is, in my view, excellent. I'm eager to see where this leads.

I do wish there was more adoption of the truly open/libre Creative Commons licenses, too, though. I've been exploring #QuestRPG and it really impressed me to see the good old CC-BY license in use for a system reference document.

(Incidentally, tonight I'll be running Quest for the first time!)

@zee Thanks for sharing! I've not yet heard of #QuestRPG. It looks interesting. How do you feel it differs from something like the FATE system?
