  1. There are still spaces left in our free online QualCoder workshop next Thursday. As in free software, free data, free training. Open to anyone, no #virginiatech affiliation required. #qualitative #qdas Register at calendar.lib.vt.edu/event/1512

  2. Watching #RequalCAQDAS webinar from Martin Hájek through @iassistdata #qual group. I appreciate the addition of coder positionality analysis for collaborative projects, plus it looks like a helpful mix of features (like QualCoder) and friendly interface (like Taguette) that was lacking before in #FOSS #QDAS.

  3. I've got something really special to share later this week - Episode 11 on my #CAQDASchat with Christina podcast is with the person who has had the biggest influence on my CAQDAS career, one of my very best friends and also one of my co-authors - YES - it's the awesome Ann Lewins.

Watch this space for when this episode drops

  4. @Ch_Hogberg @DrSundarb my policy in teaching my #Anthropology #STS #Sociology students @KAEEGoetheUni is to only introduce #OpenSource software (and learn to move my own data practices into such infrastructure). In short, for #qdas check out #QualCoder at qualcoder.wordpress.com/

  5. Can someone please recommend any good open source programs for qualitative data analysis? I am using Nvivo, but would like to find alternatives.

  6. Amazing morning, just learned I can intensify my engagement with the #qdas #qualitative #data #analysis software #QualCoder via a direct chat with its developer this week to solve some frictions.

On that note, I look so much forward to seeing how my students @KAEEGoetheUni will engage with, make use of, this software over the next months.

I like it because it is #OpenSource, #free, and available across various platforms.

  7. Is there any software in the history of software that has worse compatibility issues than NVivo???
This has got to be some sort of running joke over at QSR
