My wife managed to lure my youngest and I to the #putandtake lake this evening. She's the expert #angler and I'm more of a comic releaf, yet I managed to catch the first - and so far only - fish today.

@Rairii Now I'm curious about what rules could be added to things like #CandyLand, Snakes and Ladders, and Hi Ho Cherry-O (#PutAndTake family) in order to ease youngsters into playing #TabletopGames that aren't purely RNG based.

Every time I pull an all nighter, my body hates me. Since I had kids I aggressively guard my downtime, but once in a while the rare exception is made. Last night the family and I went a bit down south and had an eventful day of activities and finished off at a lovely #putandtake lake, where we stayed the night. The missus was #angling away like crazy, so we ended up staying awake all through the night and now we've got a mix of 8 Sunshine Bass and Rainbow Trout in the freezer. I'm not crazy about fishing, so I tended the fire, kept an eye on the snoring kids and made sure the precious coffee was flowing.
