  1. Who needs a gallery rail system when you have wood panels with gaps :D
Just need different clips to finally show off my #ptpx cards and some photos to come.

  2. Always room for one more #ptpx card on the wall, especially when it came via La Poste. 🇫🇷

  3. It's mid-May, so even though there's a few still missing (perhaps just delayed – the postal system works in mysterious ways), here's all the #ptpx postcards I've received since #ptpx2025 kicked off in December.

Thanks to everyone who's mailed me one, and I hope my contribution (see up-thread) hasn't dragged the general level of quality down too much – after all, quite a few of these are going to receive a permanent spot on the pinboard in my office!

  4. Bonus! Here is another #ptpx postcard.  This one is from Schwittlick (schwittlick.net/).  I have to admit a little mea culpa, i actually got it a week or so ago, and got busy and didn't post right away.  Not because I didn't love it, I do. #penplotter #plotterart

  5. Another #PTPX postcard has arrived, and this one is kinda punk rock. It is very solid, rough edged, with scorch marks. I think it intimidates the other postcards 😅 Nice! I present to you "Burn, Baby, Burn", by monperrus. This monperrus: monperrus.net #plotterart #penplotter

  6. Thank you @humulus 😍 #penplotter #ptpx #ptpx2025 I spent a long time diciphering those curves. Wonderful 😊

  7. #PTPX continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. I know there's been some .. ahem.. comments.. about how long it takes sometimes for ptpx cards to get out, but honestly I like having it spaced out over time. Here are two recent arrivals - I'll do it as a 🧵 I guess.

  8. I really enjoyed doing #ptpx and will do it again next year for sure. Here are the cards I mailed in December, and the ones I have received. Super fun and super inspiring, recommend.

  9. And they're off! #ptpx postcards hit the post office today. A bit later than I wanted but nowhere near as bad as previous years. They are going naked, no envelope, so the postal service can add that last touch of randomness. #plotterart #penplotter

  10. On the blue is a piece called tracing the line by Hubertus of www.fleurcerebrale.com. On the back it explains "with a shaking hand over time: project 'getting older'". Merci Hubertus, je l'aime beaucoup, et ça nous arrive à tous. #ptpx #plotterart #penplotter

  11. On the white paper we have an untitled piece from Mike @artplots   The picture doesn't capture it well, but this ink is really funky, I really like it.  Many thanks! #ptpx #plotterart #penplotter

  12. Wooo! A couple more #ptpx postcards have come in over the last week or so. Time for another mini thread. 🧵 #plotterart #penplotter

  13. As an addendum to my #ptpx post just now: It's always fun (genuinely!) to go through my stamp "collection" and piece together combinations that work for whatever price increases Deutsche Post has applied since I last bought stamps (while still physically fitting on the cards)!

  14. Every December, there's a pen plotter postcard exchange called #ptpx (I've participated for the past three years: mastodon.social/@doersino/1094 & mastodon.social/@doersino/1116 & mastodon.social/@doersino/1140).

Fashionably late for #ptpx2025 (but a month earlier than last time!), I just sent out my 19 cards – each one depicts a randomly-generated forest with all kinds of sights. (Don't mind the ghosts, they'll tell you stories of eras past!)

I've built a tiny tool to generate them: codeberg.org/noahdoersing/ptpx

  15. Thank you very much @tca , glowmuffin, @hollandhopson and @Mamboleoo !!

I was very happy to discover your postcards in my mailbox ^_^

    So much variety! <3

  16. I received two great #ptpx cards today Thank you @v3ga and @faab_e !

  17. #ptpx postcards that have arrived in my mailbox. Half way done? I'm glad I'm not the only straggler.

  18. I dropped a nice stack of #postcards off at the post office today #ptpx

  19. Last one for this thread but maybe first sent out. By BigDiceDave (not on mastodon I think). Untitled piece - but I especially like the snowman. This one took a while to arrive - it had a small adventure being delivered to my neighbour first 😅. #plotterart #penplotter #ptpx

  20. I'm very excited to receive one of these multicolored truchet drawings from @paulrickards. I've been watching these grow ever more sophisticated over time. #plotterart #penplotter #ptpx

  21. This one is from a series "Ruptures" by @fractalkitty . Love this crisp linework and the paper! #plotterart #penplotter #ptpx

  22. This one, from @tca is best understood when seen as number 6 in the series genart.social/@tca/11583879588 I am excited to be one of the lucky 12! #plotterart #penplotter #ptpx

  23. Here is a low-poly rendering of a 1650's pencil by glowmuffin (sorry, no social media info) This is based on a 3D model of said pencil found in a medieval wreck, which is pretty cool. #plotterart #penplotter #ptpx Thanks glowmuffin.

  24. It's #ptpx season! I love this time of year because each week brings fresh, delightful art in the mailbox. I've been a bit slack in posting about it, so here goes a 🧵 . #plotterart #penplotter

  25. 63 Broken Ladders

I mailed my postcards for this year's plotter postcard exchange. The design this year is "63 of 255 possible broken 8 rung ladders (in order) + 1 complete 8 rung ladder." I plotted the cards using an Axidraw SE/A3 with a Staedtler pigment liner for the black lines and a Sakura Pigma PN for the red.
