This morning I geared up and went out "on location" with my son to get some photos of my mostly-completed Fallout Vault Dweller outfit.

Things didn't go completely smoothly with the costume, with me, or with the location. In fact we ended up shooting at the alternate "Plan B" location as the perfect place I wanted to use had burned down!

Anyway, here are some shots. I'll post better costume-specific ones another time.

New ring/shell design with a hinge. Finally (mostly) matched the paint. I just need to tame the fake fiber optics.

It's going to a new home if we agree on a price.

Happy National Cheese Day, celebrating a favorite food that oft comes up in jokes, especially when commedia dell'arte's hungry harlequin Arlecchino is involved!

But we still really need to find a use for this giant cheese prop a Player of the Patchwork acquired for us last year! It's moments like this we wind up writing a new play just to use the prop! 🤣 We debated this year using it during "Arlecchino, Emperor on the Moon" given the title character's confusion of lunar properties! #PhotoOfTheDay is a literal photo of a photo, since it's an old school photo I took back in the freaking 1980s with a borrowed camera. It's of a shiny thing that was famous for some reason and some of you may recognize it.

I was going to look inside but everyone else who did had their faces melt off, so I passed.

My Fallout 16oz Purified Water is now complete, to go with the 32oz I had previously made. The smaller can fits *much* better in my vault pack's side pocket.

For this 16oz version, instead of a new cone top can I started with an old one from the 1960s.
