Vandaag was ik op de eerste #ProfitForGood conferentie in Amsterdam, met o.a. Peter Singer en Rutger Bregman. Dit business model waarbij for-profit bedrijven hun winsten (gedeeltelijk) weggeven aan effectieve goede doelen is een van de instrumenten waarmee we echt impact in de wereld kunnen maken. Ik hou dit concept zeker in mijn achterhoofd, wie weet wat ik er ooit nog mee ga doen.
Voorbeelden van zulke bedrijven: Who Gives A Crap, Rituals, Humanitix en Newman's Own Foundation.
