  6. A trick you can do on the Profitec Go, pulled directly from something you can do with a Gaggia Classic Pro for years now:

    You can pressure profile your shots.

    But it's easier and better to do on the Profitec Go because of the visible pressure gauge.

    When brewing a shot, open the steam wand slightly (with a cup underneath) to leach off some of the pumps pressure: open more, lower pressure. Slightly close, more pressure. And you can do it the start AND end of a shot.

  11. Something I found out today which is interesting: the Profitec Go has effectively the same size water reservoir (2.7L) as a La Marzocco GS3. LM claims theirs is 3.5l, but I know when it is empty, It only takes about 2.75L of water before it tops out (there's always some left in the bottom).

    Impressive (for the Profitec), considering the respective sizes of each machine.
