  1. I see following on from #SuellaBraverman's intention to fine charities for providing tents to the #homeless, she has now described #sleepingrough as a 'lifestyle choice'....

She really is a cruel vindictive sadist whose only job now seems to make #PrittiPatel look compassionate?

  2. @GhostOnTheHalfShell @openDemocracy

The only things she has really accomplished is to make #PrittiPatel look reasonable... which itself was a bit of a stretch

  3. What is extraordinary about #SuellaBraverman is that she has managed to make #PrittiPatel look better than we had thought at the time (although, of course, still a nightmare).... indeed, this seems to be the job of the current crop of ministers; to make us reassess those who went before, encouraging us to think the earlier ministers weren't as bad, because now the real nutters are on the public stage!

Is it all some cunning plan?

  4. No-one can be surprised that claims about #smallboats crossing the channel are made up almost entirely of 'economic migrants' publicly made & repeated by both #PrittiPatel & #SuellaBraverman seem to be groundless...

someone in the #HomeOffice has taken some time to decide to troll their minister(s) by responding to a FoI request that 'We have carried out a thorough search and we have established that the Home Office does not hold the information requested'!

  5. In other news: it's press freedom day, and Julian Assange is about to be extradited to the US where he will by tried for espionage based on legislation from 1917 used to oppress opposition, after being tortured and deprived of basic rights for exposing lies, horrors and crimes of the war in #afghanistan. There is hardly hope that home secretary #prittipatel will stop the extradition. Meanwhile #biden is being celebrated by #trevornoah for freedom of press in US. #pressefreiheit #freeassangenow
