I'm tempted to write a standalone novella with the prepper aspects of the story focused on first aid and hygiene needs.
There are many things to consider when preparing for the worst, but what's the point of having stocks of food, ammo, etc. if you promptly die from an infection because you didn't manage hygiene and have proper first aid?

My favorite kind of non-voter is the prepper kind. These people have built or are trying to build self sustaining lives so that the world can collapse around them while they live simple but pleasant lives. I'm sure the local warlord will appreciate their efforts if that time comes. I know they have guns and the warlord will appreciate those too. 😂😂😂

Here are some stuff about me:- #linux user since 13th July 2015; #opensuse enjoyed since the 1sr of January 2026.
- #scifi is my passion;
- I may be hobbit -ing sometimes, I like it very much; may be practicing #bushcraft in the future.
- I'm a kind of reasonable #prepper always having an EDC with me. Soon be certified first aid guy.
- Hardcore scifi reader, I sometimes watch some films or play some video games.
- I'm going to write in French, English and 汉语.
- I strongly love the chinese culture, I practice #calligraphy chen style #taijiquan and have no problem to eat spicy food #china #中国
- I still have this project of making a debian based distro, no gui, CLI/TUI only, with the only purpose of writing, so with vim, Doom emacs+orgmode+orgroam, and a CLI smolnet client installed by default. I have no idea about how to do this though.
What is HardTech?
Hardtech is a #scifi project I have: a scifi documentation website; a website that describes in details fictional technologies. A kind of user manual for a spacecraft/space station.
The aesthetics are rusty, unsafe, industrial. You must see wires in the spaceships/space station, you must not feel safe when you're on board. Main colors are various orange and black.Hardtech is LowTech
Why? Because HardTech needs to know technologies in details to make them understandable for other people, but needs to stay technical and cryptic enough to keep the sense of wonder.

Voici quelques informations à mon sujet :- Utilisateur #linux depuis le 13 juillet 2015; j'utilise #opensuse depuis le 1er janvier 2026.
- La #scifi est ma passion ;
- Je fais parfois le Hobbit, j'aime beaucoup ça ; je vais peut-être commencer le #bushcraft bientôt.
- Je suis un genre de #prepper raisonnable qui a toujours un EDC sur moi. Je serai bientôt certifié PSC1.
- Lecteur hardcore de science-fiction, je regarde parfois des films ou je joue à des jeux vidéo.
- Je vais écrire en français, en anglais et en 汉语 sur ce compte.
- J'aime beaucoup la culture chinoise, je pratique la calligraphie et le taijiquan de style Chen, et je n'ai aucun problème à manger épicé #china #中国
- J'ai toujours ce projet de créer une distribution basée sur Debian, sans interface graphique, uniquement CLI/TUI, dans le seul but d'écrire, donc avec vim, Doom, emacs+orgmode+orgroam, et un client CLI smolnet installé par défaut. Je n'ai aucune idée de la manière de m'y prendre pour l'instant.
Qu'est-ce que HardTech ?
Hardtech est un projet de #sciencefiction que j'ai en tête : un site web de documentation de science-fiction ; un site web qui décrit en détail des technologies fictives. Une sorte de manuel d'utilisation pour un vaisseau spatial ou une station spatiale.
L'esthétique est rouillée, dangereuse, industrielle. On peut voir des câbles dans les vaisseaux spatiaux/la station spatiale, on ne doit pas se sentir en sécurité à bord. Les couleurs principales sont diverses nuances d'orange, de jaune et de noir.HardTech est LowTech
Pourquoi ? Parce que pour être HardTech on doit connaître les technologies en détail pour les rendre compréhensibles aux autres, mais doit rester suffisamment technique et cryptique pour préserver le sense of wonder.
