Does anyone know if there’s natlang precedence for the change /ɸ/ > /u/? Particularly in environments like CɸV?
Velars like /x ɣ/ > /i/ seem pretty well attested so why not a bilabial to a rounded vowel?
I want to use it to make diphthongs.

Löe - noun ‘the known Universe’. It is the gnomic aspect of the verb lö- ‘to be, exist’ and so the meaning of Löe is ‘that which exists’.
Lö- is the existential form of ‘to be’ and is fairly regular (except that it’s infinitive form is lüo (dissimilation of older ‘löo’)). The predicative form of ‘be’ had different roots for different aspects and tenses.

My plan for interrogatives is to have the word for "which" decline like a noun. So the word for "which" is 'da':
da + dative = who/what?
da + locative = where?
da + allative = whither?
da + ablative = whence?
da + instrumental = how?
However, due to there being no temporal cases, da + 'time' = 'when?'.I just need to figure out 'why?' and I'm good to go.
