Transparence : Le Conseil d’État donne raison aux Pirates contre Braine-l’Alleud !
En 2018, un Pirate du Brabant Wallon demandait l'accès aux projets des conseils communaux de Braine-l'Alleud.
Ce mercredi 21 avril, près de 3 ans après la demande initiale, le Conseil d’État a tranché : ces documents administratifs doivent lui être communiqués !
Grâce à cette victoire, les Pirates espèrent que les citoyen·nes de Belgique pourront désormais accéder plus facilement à ces projets de délibérations du Conseil Communal, comme le prévoit la Constitution. Suite à cette décision du Conseil d’État, les communes n’ont désormais plus d’excuses pour être pro-actives dans leur transparence et ainsi permettre aux citoyen·nes d’accéder aux projets de délibérations avant chaque séance du Conseil Communal.

Récemment, la Chambre des représentants a lancé un site web pour soumettre en ligne des pétitions et des propositions législatives. C’est un petit pas positif vers plus de démocratie, mais en même temps il menace de nous éloigner d’une démocratie réelle et directe.

De Belgische Piratenpartij eist een einde aan de hegemonie van Frank Robben. Zoals het tijdschrift Wilfried onlangs heeft aangetoond in zijn artikel “Belgian Big Brother”, getuigt de opeenstapeling van mandaten en macht in de handen van één persoon – Frank Robben – van een disfunctionele samenleving.
Privacy is een fundamenteel recht en een van de kernwaarden die door de Belgische Piraten worden verdedigd.

As you probably know already, we are working on a #CodeOfConduct for our #Mastodon instance.
We are glad to announce that it is almost finished! 🎉
We plan to release this Code of Conduct next week, but we would like to make a call for review and comments before starting to use it. All suggestions are very welcome 🙂

I'll upgrade our Mastodon instance tonight at 11:30pm. This minor release fixes a privacy flaw : boosting your private toots actually widens their visibility in certain cases, and the content of those toots becomes public.
Je mettrai à jour notre instance Mastodon ce soir à 23h30. Cette nouvelle version résout une faille de vie privée : lorsque vous boostez un toot privé, cela augmente en fait la visibilité de ce toot dans certain cas, rendant ainsi le contenu du toot public.
