What's the name of the %||% #RStats operator? If I wanted to say it out loud, what should I say? I'm thinking "default value for null operator" but perhaps there's something snappier? This is for a 60-second #PositConf submission video.

@allendowney from your #positconf keynote: I was looking into how implemented variability things accounting for the complex survey designs, and this was not right. `pd.sample()` documentation does not really say how it uses the `weights` argument. Naive implementations of weighted samples get wrong answers. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cosrev.2022.100533. @tslumley @benschneider

Excited to report my talk "Reclaiming My Time with Quarto: A Journey from WordPress to Simplicity" has been accepted to #PositConf2024! I'll be talking about how I transformed my Wordpress site to Quarto (www.tylermw.com) using WP's XML export along with R to automate converting complex javascript and media-laden posts to Quarto, and the many improvements to my site (and personal time!) that resulted.
(Plus a short discussion of making 3D buildings in R!)
