Wow! Off the main topic (or, come to think of it, maybe not 😵💫) but Colbert says the USA’s fertility rate, still falling, is currently at 1.6 births per woman… & well below the population replacement rate of 2.1… that means population is shrinking. Without immigration it will shrink further & faster.
