Today is the last day of my summer vacation. I used the time to do another linocut :) I have a foto of me with my little sister when we were kids, and we were standing in a poppy field. This linocut is inspired by the foto, but with me and my sis as young adults :)

There's many pale purple poppies in all blooming stages & few have started going to seed. These ones are in our front yard gardens. I have them growing in our back & side yard spaces too.

Even if it's #Poppy, I would rather hear her screaming than on a gutless post-rock made-for-cgi glorified music ad. Also, #SonLux does a lot better on their albums.

Aside from that, their narrative looks for a potential TV series, and there is nothing wrong with wanting that.

Almost missed my listenBrainz year in music!

I became poppy obsessed in the last 2-3 months of 2024. TBH, I thought Faye Webster was gonna top it. beabadoobee's new album also really grew on me in late December. I'm surprise alvvays snuck in at number 2. Overall a good year with a lot of good new music.
