On the eve of #midsummer (summer solstice), we were greeted by a beautiful halo 🤩!

It was a glorious morning until this piece of sea ice with a piece of #plastic drifted by. Sights like this - especially in such a remote part of our planet - will never cease to sadden me 😔.
