Getting a pocket notebook + case that also holds pens was a good choice. The case is now my wallet as well, so I always have a notebook with me.
Just wrote a bit while sitting on the couch.

Taking my new pen (Lamy 2000) with me in my pocket journal case 🥰
The pen feels so sturdy I feel I can do this without worry. Would NOT do this with my Sailor Pro Gear, for example.

Allet Wallet (very few cards and a little cash), #pocketjournal (A6), G2 gel pen (black), Kaweco Sport (orange ink) #fountainpen, Sharpie.
Had to reinforce the journal today with fabric tape and packing tape. It wasn't built for the abuse of my back pocket.
Considering making a wallet/travel journal.
