By the way - my mother re-did her arrangements after my father died. Things she did right:

1. A Trust which allows me to handle most of her finances and other external needs.
2. A Power of Attorney (POA) that was immediately active (as opposed to needing a doctor's certification) that allows me to handle the rest of her finance needs.
3. A Healthcare Document that allows me and my brother to lead her care when she is not able to make decisions well.

Bon bah voilà, j'ai appris avec un sacré choc que pendant l'étape de la clarification de boissons comme le cidre, certaines cidreries utilisent de la gélatine de porc ou autre #POA (produits d'origine animales). Donc c'est pas vegan, et ça me fait énormément chier parce que personne ne le savait autour de moi et que les marques sont infoutues de l'écrire sur leurs étiquettes.
Du coup je suis en train de monter un dossier pour lister les marques qui font attention à ça, et épingler les autres.
Pour le moment, seul le cidre "Fils de pomme" est végan. J'ai posé la question au cidre "La Chouette", et ils utilisent des POA pour la clarification de leur cidre actuellement (mais cherchent à changer leur procédé).

Suite au prochaine épisode.

I did it and they registered complaint.
