Confession: I have read the book “The Adventures of Pinocchio” and seen the 1984 movie of the same name, but never seen the Disney classic. Tbf, always been too scared to because the book really messed me up as a kid. Like, that book is dark and twisted and it messed me up. Especially when he turns into a donkey. The trauma from reading that as a small child is something I will never forget.
