There's a baby seal rescue center in the #dutch province of #groningen (meters over the border from #friesland)
They built a lovely building with exhibits on the #waddenzee ecosystem, and opened it last year. I've been, it's a great space, great talks, knowledge and sights that you can't get anywhere else in the world that I know of. The baby seal rescue center for the south #netherlands is nice, but you're not inches away from baby seals though a pane of glass.
But the budget of the #zeehond center is coming crashing down around their ears
