@Spasian the acquisition of context-appropriate #PhoneticVariation (or #allophones) by second language (#L2) learners. I'm focusing on intervocalic flapping of /t/ in North American English and targeting L2 English speakers with a native language that doesn't contain the flap at all and those with a native language that contains the flap, but in a different phonemic category.
