The Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL (Marcus Schaub) and EPFL (Charlotte Grossiord) received funding from @SNF_ch for a new #ClimateChange #Experiment in an old growth #Forest. An existing #Irrigation experiment (started in 2003: https://esajournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/ecm.1507?utm_campaign=RESR_MRKT_Researcher_inbound&af=R&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=researcher_app&sid=researcher) will now be completed by roofs to reduce #Precipitation. In addition we will manipulate water vapor pressure deficit to disentangle #Atmospheric from #Soil #Drought (#Pfynwald).
