I hope creative fic & non-fic writers understand that when we point out erasure of non-white characters, problematic power dynamics, racist or sexist elements in their writing,
we aren’t trying to “quash” their creative vision,
but encouraging them to think more broadly, equitably, authentically & less superficially about #diversity #inclusion #equity
