finally picked up a copy of _Prisoner’s Inventions_ (2024 reprint).
it’s a fascinating book by Angelo (illustrator, author, collator) and Temporary Services, highlighting ingenuity, creativity, and adaptation from scarcity.

Forgot to share the incredible #endPapers from Nature Through the Seasons.
Possibly a photogram turned into a mirrored monochrome pattern -
For years my partner has talked lovingly about a nature book from her childhood: Nature Through the Seasons by Richard Adams. Well she finally tracked down a copy, and it's beautiful. The illustrations by David A. Goddard are amazing, hyper detailed and done with black outlines, allowing for colored and monochrome use, truly wonderful print job.
When I get a chance I'll try and take a few high res pics, in the meantime here's some grabs from the Internet Archive copy.

This one is for the book of the project We Feel Fine, by Jonathan Harris and Sep Kamvar. It was started 20yrs ago and was a crawl of the social web (pre IG, twitter) to collect any post with the term “I am feeling“ or “I feel”. The book is the analysis and curation of the project. In many ways it's a taste of what the #fediverse harks back to.
