I haven't yet attempted making papier-mâché furniture but do know of some artisans who have done this (i.e., small side tables, chairs, etc.). It's fairly challenging & also takes a good deal of strategic planning because structural integrity is an issue. Items are typically reinforced with other materials like corrugated cardboard, wire, etc. Think I'll stick with the smaller items for now.🤣

Also useful is a dedicated blender for easier pulp processing + a sieve, pitcher, & rectangular tub for making paper sheets. (If you can repurpose an old blender or DIY a mould & deckle using old picture frames, all the better.) For drying, clotheslines/drying racks/clothespins/tables can be useful. In addition to papermaking & bookbinding, I upcycle paper scraps into paper clay figurines + other papier-mâché creations.
