Kurzes Update von meiner Seite #Ultramarine lies sich ähnlich einfach konfigurieren wie #Bazzite / #Aurora und der Tochscreen und dass Onscreen Keyboard auch in der Bash funktionieren bisher wie erwartet.

Also die Installation ist super einfach und das Touchdisplay ist schon in der Liveversion unterstützt.

Also I had gone looking for the place in the updater where you can choose mirrors and wait until the system pings them all and determines the fastest. Another cool thing I didn’t know about #Fedora is this MirrorMaster technology or whatever they call it - which automatically pings mirrors and selects the closest each time you run a dnf. Useful. Me likee. Just have to use fastestmirror=True in /etc/dnf/dnf.conf.

Been toying with different distros on the Surface Pro 8 the last few days. I'll say that KDE Plasma seems to be my favorite environment for touch, after customizing the UI and gestures. I installed Ultramarine 41 and the linux-surface kernel and it's been pretty smooth.

@[email protected] pues yo me quedé en Budgie, ni pa'ti Gnome ni pa'ti KDE 😁 Lo descubrí con la distro de #Ultramarine basado en Fedora... y ahí sigo con él, porque mantiene el aspecto y sensación tradicional que tenía gnome sin sus "florituras" actuales. Encantado estoy.
