I got to give my first talk ever at @nsspain this year.
“Push the limits of Geofencing”, basically the story of how I came to build @padlok

I'm really happy with Padlok shortcuts integration. It'll allow to automate simple actions like sharing your address details to someone with Siri directly

I completed the missing behaviors, and iMessage app should be part of the next big #Padlok release 🎉

I dug into an old branch I started a few months back, and found that there were not much work left to complete #Padlok iMessage share app.
The code cleaning required on the Sharing layer have been done by now, so I might introduce this feature into the big filtering release later this month.

I think I like it even better. No submenu for picking the filters. Filter is cumulative by default, and inversion is hidden, because less natural.

Now that #Padlok has Shortcuts up and running, adding the FocusFilterIntent was super easy.

My filtering feature is moving forward as I expect it, now it's time to polish the interfaces

An evening working with AppIntents and @padlok got the following shortcuts :
- Address fetcher with filters and sorting
- Open address in app
- Trigger address notification
- Get address related share link
I plan to add some kind of Address Attributes fetching as well. Someone have other ideas for more Intents to add ? 🙃

First, I make sure that all new (and old) icons looks good in their circle. SwiftUI Previews are really good to test countless possibilities at a glance

My current watchOS app really have room for improvements. It's the minimum viable product I could make for this platform. There so much room for improvements, and I have so many ideas!

Spent most of my energy today on #Padlok watchOS app. It was long overdue to improve some of the limitation this mini app had.
I have good plans to make it first class somewhere this summer, and #watchOS10 redesign is the seed of those ideas I want to implement.

Don't ask me how, I ended up rewriting my whole WCSession logic to come up with a more reliable syncing experience between @padlok & PadlokWatch apps.

While everyone is having fun with visionOS, I plan to improve my #Padlok #watchOS app.
I plan to drop watchOS 8 support this fall, in order to bring the best experience for watchOS 10 when it'll land 🙂

New 2023.8 version is out for #Padlok!

Now, when viewing an address details, you can use "Hey Siri, Share this!" to immediately share a link to that address seamlessly.

It also brings the NEW Airdrop experience between two iPhones running iOS 17 beta. It'll be widely available for everyone from day one this fall.

I'm really happy on how my new 100% SwiftUI edition form went for @padlok.

Plus it comes with an entirely new glyph picker including category and filtering, and a lot of new icons to choose from!

I've just submitted #Padlok 2023.8 for review. It's mainly a clean-up in the share code ; and an implementation of activityItemsConfiguration.

With that version you can share addresses by saying "Hey Siri, share this".
If you run iOS 17, it'll also support AirDrop by NameDrop style!
