Just like how there are decentralized alternative social networking sites like Misskey and Mastodon, there are decentralized VRSNS out there as well! With #Vircadia and #Overte being the most famous ones! Both were originally the same project, but they were forked due to a disagreement over the handling of cryptocurrency. The former Vircadia is more tolerant of crypto assets and the latter Overte does not like crypto-stuff! By the way, I, Kawane Rina, personally recommends Overte!
