But nobody is demanding this kind of response about the non-Muslim parts of the state that did this earlier or at the same time (#Livingston, #Ottowa, even #Ferndale had a counter-protest and #Gennesee's statement not putting the flag up was remarkably similar) even though #Hamtramck is easily the smallest.
While the initial post claimed this was about all, it only tagged Muslims. I would suggest that there aren't real allies to be found with people who are targeting Muslims.

I'm really horrified by what's happening up in #ottowa. I take solace thinking that maybe the #qanon #GOP crowd figured out they're losing badly in the US and felt they had t oexport their craziness north.
I think the worst feeling is that we've somehow infected them. #canada folk are supposed to be friendly, welcoming, and non confrontational, right? (right?)
